You don't have to wait to have a company print canvases for you
and ship them. You don't have to spend a small fortune either.
This tutorial will show you how to easily make your own 8x8 canvas
wall art IN ONE DAY.
Supplies
· 8x8 stretched canvas (available at most craft stores)
· Mod Podge® decoupage glue (or other similar glue)
· A paint brush or sponge brush
· A printed scrapbook layout
Step 1: You will want to print your layout onto good thick paper.
Premium photo gloss paper is what I used. You may have a thick
cardstock that works for you. (Please do a test with your paper
and the Mod Podge glue to make sure you colors and paper can handle
the application. I tried using a thin mat paper and it wrinkled
and ripped.)
Step 2: Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to the surface of your
canvas take your printed scrapbook layout and center it onto the
canvas and press down. This is to hold the paper in place for
step 3. (If your layout overlaps the canvas be sure it can fold
over to the edge flat.)

Step 3: Apply a thick layer of Mod Podge over the top of your
layout to seal the layout to the canvas. Be sure to get the edges
really well. I used a paint brush so the strokes would show up
and give it more of a painted look. You could use a sponge brush
and avoid some of the brush strokes.

Step 4: Let it dry. After the Mod Podge is dry you can determine
if you need another coat. If not you're ready to hang and enjoy
your canvas wall art.
